1. Audio stays on your device
Every tool on SpeakerTonic — speaker cleaning, water eject, tone and noise generators, microphone tests and sound meters — runs entirely inside your browser. Sounds you play, record or measure are processed by your own device and are never uploaded, stored on our servers, or shared with anyone.
2. Microphone access
Tools that test your microphone or measure sound levels need your permission to use the microphone. Your browser asks for this explicitly, access lasts only while the tool page is open, and the audio is analysed locally in real time. Nothing is recorded to a file or transmitted anywhere.
3. No accounts, no personal data
SpeakerTonic has no sign-up, no login and no user profiles. We do not ask for, collect or store names, email addresses, payment details or any other personal information.
4. Analytics
We may use anonymous, aggregated analytics to understand how the site is used — for example, which tools are most visited. This data contains no audio, no microphone input and nothing that identifies you personally.
5. Cookies
SpeakerTonic does not use advertising or tracking cookies. If analytics are enabled, they rely on anonymised measurements without building a profile of you. You can block cookies in your browser settings and the tools will keep working normally.
6. Third-party services
The site loads standard web fonts and hosting infrastructure from established providers. Those providers may see standard technical request data (such as your IP address) in order to serve the page; they handle it under their own privacy terms. We never send them your audio or microphone data.
7. Children
The tools are safe for all ages and collect no data from anyone, including children. Parents and guardians can let younger users explore freely, though we recommend safe listening volumes.
8. Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy. See also our Terms of Use.
